Essential Reformer Maintenance

A Rosebak Peregrine system is engineered for a lifetime of precision movement. To maintain the "silent" studio experience and ensure the longevity of your investment, a consistent maintenance routine is essential.
Daily Care: Upholstery & Hygiene
After every session, wipe down the upholstery with a gentle, non-toxic studio cleaner. Avoid harsh alcohols or bleach, as these can dry out the medical-grade vinyl over time. Pay special attention to the headrest and shoulder rests where sweat accumulates most.
Weekly Maintenance: The Track & Wheels
The secret to a smooth carriage glide is a clean track. Use a microfiber cloth to wipe the stainless steel rails. Even small amounts of dust can cause the wheels to feel "bumpy" or create noise. Inspect the wheels for any debris or hair that may have been caught in the bearings.
Professional Engineering
Our systems feature industrial-grade bearings designed for high-volume studio use.

Springs are the heart of your reformer's resistance. Once a month, fully extend each spring and inspect for any gaps or kinking in the coils. If a spring shows signs of wear, replace it immediately to ensure safety. Check all bolts and knobs to ensure they remain tight and secure.
